ABOUT RU

Ru uses vibrant colour to capture a sense of light and energy and enjoys communicating various moods with different colour combinations. Trips to wild places around the country feed her work, always with a little house or croft in each painting, giving a sense of place.

Ru experiments with acrylic and acrylic ink layering colours to create depth and texture. Through her work, Ru communicates the emotion, wildness and dynamism of these beautiful landscapes that she finds so captivating and inspiring.

Ru lives on the edge of the Cotswolds with her family and their dog.
